Patience

A champion virtue of the sea dog is of course patience. Happy enough on the wall grumbling to themselves or to anyone else who is prepared to listen, slipping and stumbling their way down through the seaweeds in the intertidal, harassing every new-comer to... "pick up the stick... pick it up... do it... come on... do it... do it... pick it up... chuck it... do it... pick it up... pick it up... pick it up... pick it up... !" The set-up at Kilcummin harbour is a perfect space for the faithful hound to hone it's skills.  "Patience", study sketch in pencil by Ian Jermyn
